Brechin City have completed the loan-signing of experienced former Hearts, Partick and Ayr United goalkeeper, Craig Nelson, from St Johnstone.
Nelson (33), has a wealth of experience in the SPL and Scottish League and will undoubtedly add great competition for the number one spot with David Hay.
A delighted Dick Campbell said: "Craig is a vastly experienced goalkeeper who has played at the top level and has played almost 300 games with his previous clubs. He will not only add great competition for the goalkeeper's jersey, he will add more experience to the squad."
Nelson started his senior career with Partick Thistle whom he joined from Glasgow junior side Ashfield. Whilst with Partick he was given his first taste of first team football with loan spells at Olympic Gardens and Cork City.
Craig subsequently played for Hearts, Falkirk and Ayr United before moving to McDiarmid Park last season. John Connolly stated that he would allow Craig to move following the arrival of Rangers goalkeeper, Allan McGregor, on-loan and hopefully the six foot one Glaswegian can help kick-start City's season.
He will be in the squad for the trip to Berwick Rangers on Saturday. And it's expected Dick will farm out promising young goalkeeper, Steven Vanderdyl to gain more experience and get matches under his belt.
