The 'Scottish' Draw

While Brechin City don't come in until round 3 once again this year of the Scottish Cup, one former player is hoping for a place in the competition proper with Paul Ritchie's Lochee United staging the draw for round two this weekend
Scottish FA President, George Peat, will conduct the draw along with the Lord Provost, John Letford, and Harry Lawrie, President of the Scottish Junior FA East Region.
The Second Round Draw will include:
The 18 First Round winners
The top 2 in the Highland League: Cove Rangers & Keith
Winner of the East of Scotland League: Whitehill Welfare
Winner of the South of Scotland League: Crichton FC
10 clubs in the Scottish Football League Division 3:
Annan Athletic, Albion Rovers, Berwick Rangers; Cowdenbeath; Dumbarton,
East Stirlingshire, Elgin City, Forfar Athletic, Montrose, Stenhousemuir
The Scottish Cup Second Round will take place on Saturday 25 October 2008. The the third round ties take place in November and City will be keeping an eye on those teams making progress in the competition in the next month or so.
