There has been a big improvement in conditions in Edinburgh before tomorrow's Homecoming Scottish Cup tie with Edinburgh City and the hosts are now confident of the game going ahead.
A light frost is forecast for tonight but covers will be in place on all vulnerable areas and the game should get the green light at the second time of asking.
A provisional inspection has been booked for tomorrow morning but it is hoped that this will not be needed. Any news will be posted here.
A reminder to all fans that the game kicks off at 3pm.
Should the game fail to go ahead it will be played on Monday 8th December at 7.45pm. This is also the date for a replay.
