Brechin City 1 Peterhead 0

With just four more matches ahead, taking three points was a good boost. On a day with two well matched teams it all was settled by a well executed set play. Ian Nimmo gathered the ball in and passed it forward to Rory McAllister who then sent the cross to Darren Smith who did his part to slot it into the back of the net at minute 66.
A game marked by many missed chances and several unlucky misses by both squads on a sunny but very windy Peterhead day, it was still in the end a good day out for the good sized group of City fans. But the good thing was that the Brechin guys held on to the very end even under a lot of pressure from a very determined Blue Toon team.
