Brechin City 0 East Fife 2

A lacklustre Brechin City side had a fair start but gave up the first goal right before the half hour. Just a couple of minutes later the second was slotted in.
Though there were moments of good play, sadly much of the match was missing the passion of last weeks effort in the Cup match. A big challenge was several players playing out of position due to a continued shortage of match fit players.
Toward the end of the second half all three subs were used in quick secession which brought some fresh legs and energy to the squad and so City left with a fairly energetic high note despite not getting a goal.
Here is hoping next week is better.
Match report to follow.
