DUMBARTON MATCH PREVIEW - By John Hoey

After their midweek exertions, it’s back to league business for City tomorrow when Dumbarton visit the Glebe.

The Sons haven’t had a great start to their league campaign and only picked up their first point of the season last Saturday when they shared six goals with Clyde at Strathclyde Homes Stadium.

However, City boss Jim Duffy feels they’ll provide tough opposition for his side.

“ Dumbarton have some good players and tomorrow will bring another difficult game,” he said.

“ However, if we play to our potential, and show the same spirit, determination and work-rate that we showed in the games against Stirling and Hibs then I’m confident that we can get a result.”

The good news for City fans is that Neil Janczyk who returned to the side on Wednesday night after injury came through that game unscathed and will be available for selection. Kevin Byers is back in training and he will also be available for tomorrow’s match. Barry Smith who has been away completing his coaching courses also returns to the squad, although he will have to be considered doubtful for tomorrow’s match as he is carrying an injury.

Long-term injury victims David Murie and David White remain on the sidelines.
