ONE question thrown in the faces of Scottish fans by the nation's media is often "were you at the game". But any exiled City supporter logging into various sources for info on Wednesday night's epic derby victory match may have become a trifle confused.

For a start, if you were watching the BBC's Ceefax or ITV's Teletext service. Steven Hamilton scored two goals!! One while he was still warming the Glebe Park bench!

Then there was great debate about Brechin's third goal. Some sources giving Graham Gibson the goal, others correctly pointing out that Steven Hampshire got the final touch.

But best of all was John Reilly's report in "The Sun" John stated our first goal was scored by Kevin McLeish. Yet, not only was "Cleishy" absent from the 16. He was transfered to Berwick some time ago.

One thing is certain, those band of worthies which assemble for each match in the press box, obviously just got carried away at such a fantastic spirit and at the death comeback that any grasp of Christian or surnames went oot the windae!

And on top of that, I bet all of them had their intros written, until Stuart Callaghan's injury time winner!!
