Arbroath Match Preview

John Hoey
Brechin boss Jim Duffy has a full squad to choose from for tomorrow’s derby clash against Arbroath at Gayfield with the exception of long-term injury casualties David Murie and David White.
City fans will be hoping to get their first look at new loan-signing Kris Renton from Norwich, but the manager is keeping his starting-line-up under wraps.
Looking ahead to tomorrow’s game, Jim said,
“ Arbroath are a formidable team and will be difficult to beat, particularly at home, so we know that we will be in for a very hard game.
However, a derby game is always something to savour and look forward to. There will be a good atmosphere and a bit of added spice as the players know each other so well, and they will be trying hard to put one over their mates.
We will be approaching this game as we do every game in a positive manner and we will be trying our utmost to come away with a good result.”
Although the Brechin boss has almost a full squad to choose from, his opposite number, John McGlashan has a few selection headaches.
Alan Rattray, Paul Lunan and Bryan Scott are all thought to be suffering from swine-flu and are likely to miss out while defender Marc McCulloch has work commitments which will prevent him from playing.
