CLYDE PREVIEW - By John Hoey

City go to Broadwood tomorrow looking to capitalise on last Saturday's emphatic win against Angus neighbours Arbroath at Gayfield.

City fans will be hoping that the team can reproduce the form which saw them sweep the Lichties aside but neither the players or boss Jim Duffy will be taking anything for granted, and they know that the Bully Wee will provide a tough test, particularly on their home ground.

A win could conceivably propel City into second spot in the Second Division table provided they win and Stirling Albion slip up at home against East Fife but the manager will look no further ahead than tomorrow's game which sees him pit his wits against former Dundee team-mates John Brown and John McCormack.

"Anyone who knows John Brown and John McCormack will know that they will demand nothing less than 100% effort and commitment from their players, so we're under no illusions as to how difficult the task tomorrow will be."

"However, we'll be positive in our approach and try to come away with a good result."

"We'll take the game to Clyde, and if we perform as we did last week at Arbroath I feel confident that we'll get a good result."

Long-term injury casualties David Murie and David White remain on the sidelines and striker Ian Harty picked up a knock in training last night which makes him doubtful.

"Ian picked up a knock during our training session last night and I really won't know whether or not he'll be available until I see him tomorrow," said Jim

Clyde will be without forward Dave McKay, who has been ruled out for up to eight weeks through injury.

Willie Sawyers could come in up front after impressing in a midweek friendly, while Marvyn Wilson will play his final game as a trialist amid signing talks.
