BRECHIN CITY V CLYDE
- By
John Hoey
City face Clyde tomorrow at Glebe Park and will be hoping to bounce back with a win after last Saturday’s disappointing 0-0 draw against Arbroath.
Manager Jim Duffy is in no doubt that City will face another tough 90 minutes.
“ When we played Clyde earlier in the season we lost 1-0 despite the fact that we played quite well on the day. Clyde worked very hard that afternoon to earn their victory and we can be sure that they’ll be giving everything they have again tomorrow afternoon, “ said Jim.
“ I wasn’t happy with our performance last week, but the players have a chance to bounce right back with a victory tomorrow.”
City will wait until the last moment to check on Richard Walker and Neil Janczyk.
Janczyk missed last week’s derby match because of a viral infection while Walker has been suffering the effects of flu.
City fans may get their first look tomorrow at new signing Bobby Barr who has signed on-loan until early January.
Barr, a winger, who can operate on either flank, was the Third Division Player of the Year last season and Jim confirmed that he will be available for selection tomorrow.
