A pitch inspection has been arranged for 1.00pm tomorrow at Somerset Park ahead of Wednesday night's Active Nation 4th Round Scottish Cup tie.

Ayr officials think that the prospects for the game going ahead are exeedingly bleak and a postponement again would seem to be only a formality.

If Wednesday's game is postponed then the tie would likely be rescheduled for Monday 18th January at 7.45pm and not this coming Saturday as was previously indicated.

Weather permitting, City will be at home this coming Saturday to Dumbarton in the Irn Bru Second Division.
