League Positions Change Again
- By
John Hoey
City moved back down to 4th position in the Second Division table after Stirling Albion's 4-2 victory against Dumbarton at Strathclyde Home Stadium last night.
Alloa are still out in front on 41 points but they are only seven points ahead of City with just two points separating Jim Duffy's men from Stirling and Cowdenbeath.
It could be all change again this coming weekend with City travelling to Forthbank while Cowdenbeath host league leaders Alloa.
It's clear that there's still everything to play for for all of the teams in the Second Division with between 14 and sixteen games remaining for all of the clubs.
City supporters will be hoping that their team can keep up the good work at Forthbank and re-produce the kind of form that earned them such an emphatic win last Satuday against Peterhead, and a victory would certainly keep up the pressure at the top of the table.
