East Fife Preview - By John Hoey

With the exception of Jon Seeley who has work commitments, manager Jim Duffy will have a full squad from which to select his starting eleven for tomorrow night’s rearranged league match at New Bayview.

It will be a surprise if the manager decides to change the team that won so convincingly against Peterhead in City’s last league game and Jim will certainly be looking for his side to approach tomorrow night’s match with the same level of determination and application that was so evident against the Blue Toon.

The sides have met twice already this season with the Fifers winning by 2-0 in the opening league game of the season but City won the corresponding encounter at Glebe Park by 3-2 with a Charlie King brace, (one a penalty) and a goal from Paul McLean ensuring victory.

Games between the sides over the past few seasons have invariably been close and tomorrow night’s match looks as if it could be another evenly contested affair.

At the time of writing, the surface at Bayview is bone-hard and East Fife officials have indicated that unless conditions improve, they will be calling for a morning inspection.
