Dumbarton Preview - By John Hoey

City boss Jim Duffy will have a full squad from which to choose his team for the first time in weeks, ahead of tomorrow's visit to Dumbarton.

Jon Seeley is free of work commitments and will be available and the other good news is that on-loan defender/midfielder Alex Walker will also join the squad after being out injured with a recurrence of a hernia problem sustained against Alloa Athletic.

Jim is looking forward to the game and feels it will mark the beginning of a six week period which will be of vital importance not only to City but also to the other clubs in the division as well.

" Most clubs will have a couple of games a week to play for the foreseeable future," he said.

" It will be an important time for everyone in the Second Division whether or not they are challenging at the top of the table or sitting near the bottom."

" There are a lot of points to be won and we have to ensure that we can get as many points on the board as possible."

" The players are itching to get back into action and tomorrow's game can't come soon enough for them."

" Dumbarton are a good football side and will make things difficult for us but we are certainly capable of going there and coming away with a good result."

The Sons will be missing goalkeeper David McEwan, but Andy Geggan who featured in Tuesday night's defeat at Peterhead will come into contention for a starting berth. David Winters could also play his last game as a trialist before the club and player decide on any future move.

The clubs have met twice already this season with City coming out on top by 3-1 at Glebe Park back in August with Mark Docherty, Rory McAllister and Charlie King (pen) scoring the goals that mattered while the teams drew 0-0 at the Strathclyde Home Stadium on 31st October.
