Arbroath Preview - By John Hoey

City have the opportunity to make it four wins on the trot when they entertain Angus neighbours Arbroath at the Glebe today.

Manager Jim Duffy looks as if he will be without centre-back Paul McLean who picked up a calf strain against Stirling Albion on Tuesday night. Jim reckons that the young centre-half who has been in outstanding form all season must be rated as doubtful for the derby clash. Alex Walker also remains sidelined with a groin injury. The good news for City fans though is the return of centre-back Jon Seeley to the squad and it would seem likely that he’ll step into the back four if McLean fails to make it.

Arbroath striking pair Bryan Scott and on-loan St.Johnstone star Andy Jackson are both sidelined. The Red Lichties have added experienced defender Phil McGuire to their ranks and he could make his debut with experienced defender Steven Rennie still unavailable.

The two sides have met twice already this season with City recording an emphatic 4-1 win at Gayfield on 12th September with Charlie King, Neil Janczyk and Rory McAllister with a brace all on target.

The corresponding fixture at the Glebe on 7th November ended 0-0.
