Pink rallies the fans!

City manager, Ian Campbell, has called on the club's supporters to turn put in large numbers for Saturday's short trip to Gayfield - for a game that both sides are looking to take something from for very different reasons.
Arbroath showed on their last visit to Glebe Park that under Harry Cairney and Stuart Sorbie they are continuing to improve all aspects of their game and the Brechin manager is looking for an improved showing from his side.
"We can't fault our players too much, you only have to look at the table to see that would be daft. But we are looking for an improvement performance at Gayfield, where we have an excellent record in the league over a long period of time.
"Records count for nothing though. I want to see as many red and white scarves as possible when our players run out on Saturday. It's a short trip and we are hopeful that the team recevives plenty of noisy backing from our magnificent supporters.
"Arbroath will be a hard game. They are fighting for their lives and will present us with a great challenge. So the backing of a good travelling support could make all the difference.
"Rest assured, we will be going there to have a go and try and win the game. So I urge Brechin fans to get along and get behind the players."
The game will also be a historical one for City. As well-known assistant referee, Morag Pirie, will run the line. The first time a lady has officiated at a Brechin City match. Morag is one of the most highly respected officials in the north east and obviously with City's much improved disciplinary record this season, she won't be given any problems from Brechin players.
"The game takes care of itself, but lets hope for one hundred per cent from the punters and I promise them, they'll get that from our players." Pink concluded.
