Arbroath Preview

Manager Jim Duffy will be without the services of Willie Dyer for tomorrow night’s short trip to Arbroath. The full-back who had to come off injured in Saturday’s 3-1 home win against basement club Clyde has sustained a hair-line fracture to his left ankle and will be out for a minimum of six weeks. Long-term absentee, on-loan Morton defender/midfielder Alex Walker, will also be missing.
The good news for City fans is that Jon Seeley is free of work commitments and will return to the Brechin squad.
The team played really well in the latter part of the game against Clyde and supporters will be hoping for a repeat of that kind of form against the Lichties. It’s been just under a fortnight since Jim Weir’s team came away from the Glebe with a 2-0 victory, ending City’s proud unbeaten home record in the process and there’s no doubt that players and supporters alike will be determined to make it two out of two victories this season at Gayfield come 9.30pm tomorrow night.
