Brechin City FC are pleased to announce the appointment of Jim Weir as the team manager, ably assisted by Assistant Manager Kevin McGowne.

Chairman Ken Ferguson said "Jim starts the season with a good nucleus of players already committed to the Club. Thanks for this must go to Former Manager Jim Duffy and Assistant Kevin McAllister, we are grateful to both for the time and effort they devoted to Brechin City FC.

As the Club enters a new chapter with Jim Weir at the helm we look forward to what will be a very competitive season and the challenges this will bring. The Management Committee are confident that Jim and Kevin are ably qualified to meet these challenges and to build on the good work of the former management."
