Jim Weir has signed midfielder Jamie Redman (pictured) on a one-year deal from his old club Arbroath.
The recently appointed City boss believes the capture of 23-year-old Redman—who worked under him at Gayfield—to be a significant one.
“Jamie is a great kid to work with,” he said.
“He’s a really fit lad who’ll do anything that’s asked of him. He’s also brave and gets goals from the middle of the park.
“He reminds me of Murray Davidson at St Johnstone and while Murray is obviously playing in the SPL, I believe Jamie has it in him to step up a level as well.”
Neil Janczyk has also signed on again for another year and Barry Smith has agreed a new deal.
