Brechin City Groundsman Neil Wood has been put forward for final judging for the 'Best Pitch Nominations' and the Scottish Groundsman of the Year Competition.

A judging panel will visit the ground to discuss the issues facing ground staff. Following the visit the panel will select a winner from each league and they will also select the Scottish Groundsman of the Year.

The results will be announced at Scotsturf 2010 at Ingilston, Edinburgh on 4th November.

The IOG Scottish Football groundsman of the Year competition is run with by the Institute of Groundsmanship and sponsored by Rigby Taylor, ground maintenance equipment suppliers.
