Peterhead are pulling out all the stops to beat the weather to try and ensure that Saturday's home clash with City can take place.

The club has posted an appeal on their website for volunteers to come to Balmoor Stadium armed with shovels at 10.00am tomorrow morning to help clear the playing surface of snow in an effort to get the game played.

Everyone at Brechin City hopes that there will be a successful outcome and that the match can be given the thumbs up.
