On behalf of the BCFC Supporters Club, I would like to thank all concerned for the wonderful hospitality shown on our visit yesterday. From start to finish , we had a tremendous day. A special thanks to John at the supporters club for getting us sorted at the legion and also George and his staff at the legion for keeping the troops fed and watered.

Everyone we met before and after the game couldn't be friendlier either. Even the traffic warden who stopped the traffic for us had time for a wee jig in the middle of the road with one of our fans !!

As I said a wonderful day, obviously made better for us in victory. However Buckie Thistle should hold their heads high, as they showed especially in the second half that they can play a bit of good football. They may have been beaten but were certainly not disgraced.

This is what cup football is all about, coming to places like Buckie and having a good day out. No hassle and good banter. I only hope we can arrange a pre season match sometime so we can sample the hospitality again.

Until we meet again, we hope you have a successful end to your season and you regain the league title. You are a credit to the Highland League and deserve all the success that comes your way.
