Brechin have signed Steve Hamilton, who was released by Forfar earlier this week. The defender (29) joined the Loons from Stenhousemuir in the Summer, but has struggled with injury, and never really broke into the first team at Station Park.

Despite being released by the Loons, Dick Campbell has obviously seen something he likes in the player, who will compete with the likes of Paul Deas, David White, Scott Walker and Shaun Dennis for a place in the City defence.
