City snap up Gerry Britton.

Ian Campbell has moved to capture experienced striker Gerry Britton on a two year deal. City were close to signing Gerry in the summer but he opted to take up the assistant manager role at Dundee alongside Jim Duffy.
Jim Duffy was sacked only a couple of weeks ago and Britton was told he was not in contention for the hot-seat, so Gerry decided to leave Dundee and let new manager Alan Kernaghan pick his own number two.
Gerry then opted to go part time so he could continue with his studies to be a lawyer, and Ian Campbell has moved fast to snap up the experienced striker.
Gerry should be in contention for a starting place against Clyde tomorrow.
Meanwhile striker Graham Gibson has left the club to go to Australia. The big striker signed for Brechin in the summer of 2002 from Lochore Welfare, and scored two goals on his competitive debut in the 4-2 defeat to Berwick Rangers.
Gibby had a very good pre-season but found it difficult to get a regular start in the league. He has 1 goal to his name so far this season, when he scored in the 3-2 victory against Clyde in the first round of the Bell's Cup. Gibby made around 110 appearances for City, scoring 22 goals in the process.
Gibby goes with our best wishes.
