Scottish Cup 3rd Round Draw - By Steven Mew

City fans are reminded to hurry home after the match against Hamilton Accies tomorrow in order to see the 3rd round draw for the Scottish Cup being broadcasted live on BBC1 shortly after 5:00pm from Tynecastle Stadium.

With City being in the 1st division, we thankfully got a bye to the 3rd round, where all 1st division sides and SPL are thrown in so City could get a money-spinning tie if lady luck is on our side!

All the 2nd round matches are to be played tomorrow afternoon, the ties are as follows:

Gretna v Cove Rangers
Arbroath v Dumbarton
Ayr United v Greenock Morton
Queen's Park v Raith Rovers
Lossiemouth v Spartans
East Fife v Peterhead
Threave Rovers v Forfar Athletic
Stenhousemuir v Partick Thistle
Stirling Albion v Inverurie Loco Works
Alloa Athletic v Montrose

This means that there will be at least 1 non-league side in the 3rd round draw, with Lossiemouth playing Spartans!

Making the draw will be former internationals and cup veterans, John Robertson and Ally Dawson, with SFA Chief Executive David Taylor presiding.
