Further to the discussions of the Club’s open meeting of 17th December Chairman Ken Ferguson is pleased to report:

"We are all greatly encouraged with the response received to date from our fans. Contributions to the fund have been forthcoming from home and abroad with many fans showing their support personally at Saturday’s game. We are well on the way to reaching our initial target and with hopefully more contributions yet to come and the team improving each week we can take on the second half of the season with confidence. Once again we are indebted to our supporters for rallying around during this difficult spell in our Club’s history. We firmly believe that by sticking together we will rise to the challenges that lie ahead. Thank you to everyone for your support."

Manager Mark Wilson added, "The support and generosity shown by the fans for the fighting fund has been nothing short of incredible. The money raised will be used in the forthcoming transfer window, helping to support the existing players by strengthening our squad, which I am confident will then see us on a run of positive results."
