Despite going through November unbeaten, Michael O’Neill failed to pick up the 2nd division manager of the month for November.

City recorded two wins and a draw in the league (against Forfar, Raith and Alloa respectively) while a draw against Queens Park in the Scottish Cup forced a replay at Hampden, in which City emerged victorious.

Stirling only played 3 matches in November but they won every game, winning against Alloa (5-0) Morton (2-1) and East Stirling (2-0 in Scottish Cup).

Moore won the award because of the manner in which his side hammered local rivals Alloa while defeating top of the league Morton was a great achievement.

Moore has extended his contract with the Bino’s until 2009. His current deal with the club was due to expire at the end of this season.

Despite not receiving an award, congratulations must go out to both O’Neill and the players for going through the month unbeaten.

Gretna boss Rowan Alexander and Queens Park gaffer Billy Stark won the manager awards for the 1st and 3rd divisions respectively.

Gretna’s Colin McMenamin won the SFL player of the month while Queens Park striker David Weatherston took young player of the month.
