The club is pleased to announce that Michael O'Neill and Iain Russell both deservedly won awards for their efforts in February. O'Neill won manager of the month while Russell picked up player of the month for Division Two.

City had a very successful February, winning 3 out of 4 games while Iain Russell was on top form, banging in 6 goals in just 4 matches.

Brechin suffered a fairly heavy defeat against Stirling at the end of the month, but in the games previous to that, they picked up 9 points, scoring 7 goals and conceding none.

During the month City toppled league leaders Morton at Cappielow, winning 2-0 thanks to a brace from Iain Russell.

Unfortunately, a well known 'curse' seems to come with the award and this seems to be the case as City have experienced a very disappointing March, picking up just 1 point from a possible 9.

The manager and the players are hopeful of getting back on track on Saturday with a positive result in what will be a difficult match against Alloa at Recreation Park.
