The Reds Review
Brechin City have once again remained in the higher reaches of the Scottish Programme of the Year Awards as the club's "Reds Review" finished as runners-up to Raith Rovers in the Scottish Programme of the Year Awards, which are selected by the UK's leading football programme dealers, editors and backed by trade magazine programme monthly.
Editor Steve Mitchell said: "It's another feather in the cap for the many people who make a sterling contribution to our programme. We have a dedicated team of volunteers who give up a lot of their free time willingly to make our programme an interesting read.
"I would like to thank for their backing and support over the eight years, since I returned to look after the club's programme.
"I think Raith are deserved winners of he award and were certainly our pick as the best in the division. From our own perspective, while we have undoubtedly maintained high standards in terms of reading material, there are a number of aspects that we haven't been entirely happy with this season, given the production costs involved.
"I think however that given the amount of work that goes into producing what is something that is sold in a very limited market-place, we have to be delighted with this outcome."
