The fixtures for the 2007/08 season have been announced and City will travel to Hampden Park to take on newly promoted Queens Park on the first day of the season. The 'spiders' gained promotion to division 2 via the play-offs last season, beating East Fife in the final. Billy Stark has assembled a fairly strong squad and they will prove be a hard nut to crack. The match is followed by two home games against Steve Paterson's Peterhead and Neil Watt's Ayr United.

On the last day of the season, City will play host to Ross County who finished last in the 1st division last season and were therefore relegated. The 'Staggies' are currently managed by former City player and manager, Dick Campbell. Campbell has already brought in a wealth of experience to Victoria Park and they will be looking to bounce back up at the first attempt.
